Degree Programmes in Biology and Microbiology

Biology helps us to understand the world around us and within us. Biological research plays its part in improving our understanding of the past and enabling us to anticipate possible future developments. This relates not only to ourselves as humans, but to all other forms of life on this planet, too.
The Faculty of Natural Sciences offers collaborative degree programmes: the single subject Bachelor degree programme in biology and the Master degree programme in molecular microbiology, the interdisciplinary Bachelor programme and the post-graduate Master programme comprise its teacher training programme for biology and one further combination subject at high school level.

Students – everything about the degree courses

Once your course has started, you will receive documentation and details for the subject you have chosen: compulsory and elective modules, teaching and exam timetables, people to contact and collaborating institutes
