The Faculty of Natural Sciences sadly announces the loss of its long-time employee Mihail Astratov.
Mr Astratov had been working for the Institute of Organic Chemistry since 1 February 2003. With his helpful and competent demeanour, he was involved in many areas of the institute and also accompanied the institute through the difficult restructuring phase. As the main person responsible for the supply of chemicals, but also as a reliable employee in analytics, he was able to support many generations of students and doctoral candidates and impressed them with his hands-on, yet always reserved manner.
We have lost a very reliable employee and will cherish the memory of a highly valued colleague.
Our sincere condolences go to his family.
