Prof. Dr. Victor Sourjik: What motile bacteria seek in the human gut

To mark the 20th anniversary of our faculty, a series of lectures will be held this summer semester with selected talks from the biology, geology and chemistry sections.

As part of this celebratory colloquium, Prof. Dr. Victor Sourjik will give a lecture on Wednesday 21 May at 12:00,  Kirchenkanzlei, Raum 009 (Herrenhäuser Str. 2; Geb.: 4107) entitled:
„What motile bacteria seek in the human gut“ 

Victor Sourjik is director and head of the Department of Systems and Synthetic Microbiology at the MPI in Marburg since 2013 and Professor of Biology and Physics at the Philipps University Marburg, since 2014. His research focuses on the quantitative analysis of microbial cells and microbial communities.
