D3 Spring School 2024: Exploring the Intersection of Machine Learning and Nutritional Science
Data-Driven Deliciousness: The Intersection of Machine Learning and Nutrition
The D3 Spring School invites early-stage researchers to participate in an exciting interdisciplinary event taking place from April 22 to April 25, 2024, in Drawehn, Germany. The programme is designed to empower junior researchers with specialized computational methods, focusing on leveraging machine learning algorithms. These tools will enable participants to extract meaningful insights from the vast datasets generated by modern omics technologies and lifestyle monitoring tools. By bridging the gap between data science, nutritional science, and related life sciences, the school aims to foster collaboration and provide hands-on training in machine learning methods. Attendees will have the chance to explore the applications of these methods in the realm of nutrition research.
The D3 Spring School is funded by the Joachim Herz Foundation.
The event is organised by Dr. Mattea Müller, Institute of Food Science and Human Nutrition, and Dr. Jan Voges, Institute of Information Processing.
